Let’s be real, if the Cowboys stay healthy, the offense is LOADED and should be in the top 5 of the league. The issue has been defense, defense, defense. It doesn’t do you much good scoring 40 points a game if the other team scores 45. For all of you non-mathematicians out there, that means you lose those games!
So I do applaud Jerry Jones for being sensical in this draft. In the past, he typically goes for the big, shiny things and really doesn’t address the real fundamental problems. So after popping a few Xanax and doing some meditations, he seemed to have addressed some issues that desperately needed to be! The Cowboys definitely loaded up on defense, and with some real solid talent to say the least! See below for the draft order and the players. I, for one, at excited to see what this new year brings for the Cowboys, and haven’t been this optimistic in a while. However, health on offense is absolutely key, and the NFC East is getting better, especially the Washington Re—-, errrr, the Washington Football Team!
