Here we are at another major in Brookline, Massachusets! I love the majors as it brings out the best in all of the worlds best golfers and some just seem to show up at majors and are not super great at the others. Brooks Koepka comes to mind as he is a BEAST in majors and doesn’t seem to fare well during most of the PGA season. I find that a little strange. With that being said, let me share with you my top picks and who I would be putting my money on! (odds provided by FanDuel on 6/15/22)
This will be our 4th major of the year, with 3 already past
- Players Championship – Cameron Smith
- Masters – Scottie Scheffler
- PGA Championship – Justin Thomas
- US Open – we shall see!
Here are my top 5 picks for this weekend. Happy Fathers Day and enjoy this tournament. It should be a great one!
____________
He is having a similar year to Jordan Spieth (both Longhorns) in 2015. This guy is winning like crazy and is on fire. The last few weeks, he has been in contention and hasn’t quite pulled it off, but he could easily win this weekend!
____________
Rory just won last weekend and he is getting back into Rory form. I have always loved his personality and his style of golf. He is gaining steam at the perfect time and I would not be shocked if he pulls it off!
____________
Jordan is one of my favorites and he is a threat to win every weekend. Only problem is? He is either in contention to win, or misses the cut badly. With this being a major and his crazy hunger to get back on top, I would bet on him as well. He has one of the best short games in the sport, and that is going to be crucial in this tournament, specifically.
____________
Dustin is my top favorite golfer and I have followed him his entire career. His past and struggles resonate well with me and the dude is just a champion…flat out. I expect him to be great this week if he can get his mind off of LIV Golf for a weekend! Click the link to learn more about this crazy new golf league, which honestly, is fairly awesome!
_____________
Some would say Harold is a long shot. I would NOT. I love watching this guy play! He has been knocking on the door a lot lately but always seems to fall apart late. It is a matter of time before he gets over that hump and pulls through and wins one of these things. What better place than a Major?

Enjoy the tournament this weekend!
