It has been a while, but here we are! Wild Card Weekend is here! Every game last year was awesome and came down to one scores just one game after another.
We probably aren’t going to be so lucky this year. I feel there are several mismatches and we shall discuss them here. For this post, we are only going to visit the Saturday games, so let’s do this!
Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers – SF – 9.5 and the O/U is 42.5
I do think the Niners should win this game fairly easily. If I had to bet right now, I would guess San Francisco might go to the Super Bowl. No clue what Philly is going to look like when Jalen Hurts comes back, but San Francisco is a team I would NOT want to see in the playoffs. They are destroying people with a 3rd string quarterback and they have the best defense in the league. The weather is going to be crazy gross and that bodes well for a rock solid defense. If this game is close, I will be very surprised.
I see SF winning by 10+ and the score hitting the over. We shall revisit tomorrow 🙂
Los Angeles Chargers @ Jacksonville Jaguars – JAX – 2.5 and the O/U is 47
This game is tough to pick! This is the biggest game in Jacksonville, Florida in probably more than a decade. Justin Herbert for the Chargers is going to be awesome for a decade, but so is Trevor Lawrence.
I see the Jags winning this one by 3+ and will be under the 47. However, the next week, the Jags will be done. They are a year away but they are getting better by each and every game. The problem is the Bills, Bengals, and the Chiefs still exist. Not good!!!!!I
I do love the Chargers and I see this playing out as them losing, and then Sean Payton coming on board. The Chargers are going to be good for a while, but I think the Jags are too. Jags for the win on this one, and again, we shall revisit tomorrow for the next batch of games. This game should come down to the end, but I feel the Jags pull it off.
